Greetings, my name is Vedh Krishnan (VAYDH KRISH-nun), and I am proud of my cultural heritage and family roots. The name Vedh, which means "sacred" in Sanskrit, holds a special significance to me as it reflects respect for my cultural values and beliefs. I am an only child and my family amounts to my parents, who originate from India, and my beloved pet cat, Sandy. My numerous trips to India to visit my grandparents and relatives have given me a deeper understanding and appreciation of my cultural roots and I am grateful for the opportunity to learn more about my heritage. My fascination with mathematics and computer science has driven me to pursue a career that combines the two and involves educating others. I firmly believe that these fields hold the key to solving some of the world's most complex problems and I am thrilled to be a part of this journey. In my free time, I enjoy writing, solving mathematical problems, and spending time with my family. Furthermore, I have taken up volunteering and tutoring at the Russian School of Mathematics and Schoolhouse.world. Through my volunteering work, I have been able to help students struggling with mathematical concepts, which has been both rewarding and humbling. Overall, I am an enthusiastic and empathetic individual who values family, culture, and education. I am eager to see where my passions and interests take me and I am committed to making a positive impact on the world.
